If you’re ever in London when the sun ☀️ decides to show up, spend an afternoon at Hampstead Heath. It’s not manicured or polished like Hyde Park. It’s wilder, softer, more lived-in. I went on a warm July afternoon and it felt like the city had loosened its grip. Walked past tall grasses, overgrown meadows, kids running barefoot, and dogs leaping into ponds like they’d waited all year for that one moment. The Parliament Hill viewpoint is something else — skyline in the distance, kites dancing above, people lying back with nowhere else to be. 🍃🌤️ I brought an iced coffee ☕️ and a book 📖 I never opened. Just sat under a big old tree and watched the light move across the grass. Everything slowed down in the best way. If you bring snacks, even better. There were families having little picnics, couples sharing strawberries, someone strumming a guitar off to the side. 🍓📚🎶 You forget you’re in one of the busiest cities in the world.
