The D887 "Fuxing" EMU set off from Kunming South Railway Station to Vientiane at 8:08 in the morning. The train stops at 8 stations throughout the journey, including 4 China-section stations in Kunming South, Pu'er, Xishuangbanna, and Mohan, and 4 Laos-section stations in Boten, Luang Prabang, Vangvieng, and Vientiane.
