The Miryang City Museum is a comprehensive museum where you can explore the history and culture of the Miryang region from prehistoric times to the modern era. On the first floor, the permanent exhibition hall showcases artifacts and tools from the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods, ancient relics from the Samhan era, and calligraphy and paintings from the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties, all arranged chronologically to help visitors naturally understand the flow of history. The Independence Memorial Hall highlights Miryang's independence movement history, including the March 13, 1919 Miryang Manse Movement, the founding of the Uiyeoldan (Righteous Army), and activities at the Joseon Youth Revolutionary Cadet School. Meanwhile, the Fossil Exhibition Hall displays 244 prehistoric fossils collected from around the world, offering fascinating sights for both children and adults.
