📍Iya Kazura Bridge, Tokushima Prefecture This suspension bridge is woven using wild vines, and is one of Japan's Three Unusual Bridges. It is 14m high above the water, 45m long, and 2m wide. It is designated as an Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan, and is replaced every three years. It is said that the Heike clan's fugitives used the vines so that they could be cut off quickly when escaping from their pursuers. When you step on it, it creaks and wobbles, giving you a thrill.
