a geopark an hour away from taipei 🏞️🌿🌴

I went to Taipei earlier this summer and didn’t want to just stay within Taipei City, so I decided to hire a driver to drive us around the outskirts of Taipei, and Yehliu Geopark was the first stop. When I went, it was really hot and the sun was blazing, definitely bring water and apply SPF. The main attraction is the Queen’s Head 女王头, but since there was a queue of people trying to take picture with it, we just snapped a quick shot (the cover picture). We were told by the driver that since the Queens Head is a natural phenomenon along the coastline, the rock connecting the Queen’s Head and Body is thinning out and it will probably collapse within the next couple of years.
