A Relaxing Day in Nice with the Mediterranean

Nice is a city where the warm sunshine of southern France perfectly complements the blue sea. The scenery of red rooftops and pastel-toned buildings captivated me from the moment I arrived. I started by walking along the Promenade des Anglais, a coastal walkway. The refreshing breeze and the sound of waves accompanied me as I strolled, and simply sitting on a beach chair gazing at the cobalt-blue sea was enough to bring happiness. The Old Town (Vieux Nice) was a lively area that showcased the vibrant spirit of Nice. The alleys, bathed in shades of yellow and orange, were lined with small cafes and shops. At the Cours Saleya market, the aroma of flowers, herbs, and fresh fruits filled the air, offering a glimpse into the daily life of locals. Climbing up to the Colline du Château (Castle Hill) viewpoint, I was treated to a panoramic view of Nice's beach and old town. At sunset, the sky and sea turned a romantic shade of red, as if straight out of a movie scene. To end the day, I enjoyed a fresh seafood platter paired with rosé wine at a beachfront restaurant. Nice is a city where you don't need to try too hard—just walking and staying there is enough to make it special.
