Don’t just miss the Turkish hot air balloons! Pamukkale is the real wonderland When traveling to Turkey, don’t just watch hot air balloons! Pamukkale in Denizley is simply a real-life fairytale wonderland! When I first learned about Pamukkale, I saw some photos on the Internet. I was conquered by its beautiful appearance and silently wished to see it for myself. This time I finally had the chance to set foot on this magical land. Once out of the car, Pamukkale looked like a huge, snow-covered hill from a distance. As I walked closer, I realized what kind of white snow was there, clearly layers of milky white calcified terraces. These terraces come in various shapes, some like small ponds, some like dishes, full of clear hot spring water. I took off my shoes and stepped on them carefully. The soles of my feet were cool and a bit slippery. The water flowed through the crevices of my toes, the feeling was amazing. Slowly ascending the terraces, every step seemed to be in close contact with nature. I heard that the water here is rich in minerals, which is good for the body. I also saw many people dipping their feet directly in the terraces, looking enjoying themselves. When you find a little corner and dip your feet in, wow, it’s so comfortable, the exhaustion of the day is gone. Next to Pamukkale is the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ancient stone pillars, the broken walls, quietly speak of the splendor of the past. Walking through the ancient city, you can hear the joy and laughter of people thousands of years ago and feel the thickness of history. As the sun sets and golden sunlight shines on Pamukkale, the whole place is dyed golden yellow in breathtaking beauty. I stood there, looking at the beautiful scenery in front of me, with only one thought in my mind: this trip was so worth it!
