This time in Pattaya, someone recommended that “You have to try Je Nong Seafood, it’s really good.” We didn’t miss out. We went with two friends, totaling 3 people. Let me tell you, we weren’t disappointed at all! Food: Every dish was fresh! The seafood was as fresh as if it had just been lifted from the boat. My favorite dish is • Fried Sea Bass with Fish Sauce (or with Chili Sauce is also great) – Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, rich flavor. Eat it with rice and it’s awesome. • Squid in Black Sauce – A rare dish, but this place makes it very well. It smells of spices and isn’t fishy. • Spicy Seafood Salad – Spicy and full of flavor. The salad dressing is authentic Thai flavor. It’s already delicious without any seasoning. • Tom Yum Goong – The Tom Yum soup is rich and fragrant with herbs. It’s very refreshing when you sip it. The shrimp are big, not tiny like some restaurants. Price: We ordered a lot of food and ate until we were full, but when we split the bill, it was less than 400 baht per person. It’s a great value when compared to the quality of the food and quantity. Atmosphere: The restaurant isn’t fancy. But the atmosphere is homey, a little chaotic because there are a lot of people every day. Especially on Friday-Saturday evenings, you have to wait in line almost every time. It is recommended to go before 5 pm. Disadvantages: There is no parking in front of the shop. You have to park and pay in a nearby alley and walk. If you drive, you may have to leave some time to find a parking spot. Summary: If you come to Pattaya and like spicy, fresh seafood at a friendly price, I must say that Je Nong Seafood is one of the restaurants you should visit! No matter how many times I go, I have never been disappointed.
