Khao Khun Phanom Temple

How to get there - You can take Highway No. 4016 from Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat District, straight to Noppitam District. You will pass Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University until you reach Phrom Khiri District, a total distance of 23 kilometers. Then when you reach Phrom Khiri Intersection, turn right and follow the signs. Another 3 kilometers and you will reach Wat Khao Khun Phanom. This temple is also the residence of King Taksin, who came to stay and observe the precepts in this cave. In front of Wat Khao Khun Phanom is the location of the ancient sacred well, which is believed to be a sacred well that was given to King Taksin for his personal use. There are also many buildings, such as the King Taksin the Great Monument.
