Lake Plastira

#summervacay Lake Plastira is one of those under-the-radar places that totally surprised me. Set in the mountains, surrounded by forest and traditional villages, it’s the definition of tranquil. I rented a bike and rode the perimeter one morning, then kayaked in the afternoon with no one around except birds and distant goat bells. It’s perfect for escaping the heat and crowds. Pure, peaceful nature—Greek countryside at its finest.
