Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), Jeju Island: Your Day Trip Guide! ⛰️🌅

#summervacay If you're heading to Seongsan Ilchulbong (성산일출봉), also known as Sunrise Peak, on Jeju Island, here's a quick guide based on my experience! Getting There 🚌 Since we were staying near the airport and planned to visit Udo Island on our last day, we conveniently stored our luggage at the airport and headed directly from there. We took bus 111 or 112, which goes straight to the Seongsan Ilchulbong entrance. If you're coming directly from the city center, you'll likely need to transfer buses. Tickets & Trail Options 🚶♀️ We didn't do much research beforehand and simply chose the right-hand route to buy tickets. This path leads you up the peak, and I can confirm it's absolutely worthwhile and highly recommended for those who enjoy hiking! It offers incredible views all the way up. If you opt for this route and plan to do the full loop, it can be a bit tiring, but you can complete the entire visit in about two hours. Pro-tip: If you're not keen on climbing to the very top or trying horseback riding, you can choose the left-hand route at the entrance for free!
