A Look Around Haebangchon: My Trip

#cityplaybook My recent trip to Haebangchon, a neighborhood in Seoul, had some ups and downs. The first time I went, I was looking for a cafe with a great view of the city. Someone I knew, or maybe something I read online, pointed me to it. I was excited to see the view from up there. But when I arrived, the cafe was closed. It looked like all the shops on that street were shut too. I must have picked the wrong day to visit. Even though I was disappointed, I could still see that it was a pretty area with nice views. Later, I found a place called Sinhung Market. It didn't look like much from the outside, like just another entrance to a building. But once I stepped inside, it felt like a whole different world. The market had a different vibe than the streets outside. It felt like the old buildings in Haebangchon had been kept, which reminded me of other old neighborhoods I know. The description made it sound like Sinhung Market is a special place with its own unique feeling. After exploring the market, I started thinking about going home. I suddenly really wanted to be there. I was looking forward to having a drink and relaxing at my place, so I headed to the bus stop. Overall, Haebangchon seems like a place with some surprises. You might go there expecting one thing, like a cafe with a view, but find something else interesting instead, like the Sinhung Market. It seems like a neighborhood where old Seoul charm mixes with unexpected little discoveries. I think it's worth going back to explore more of what it has to offer. #naturelovers#citywalk
