Shiretoko Boutique Hotel - Shiretoko Monsoon Club Hotel

Shiretoko offers a variety of hotels, and this being my third visit, I chose the seaside Shiretoko Monsoon Club Hotel. Unfortunately, since I booked late, the cabins and first-floor rooms were already fully booked, so I stayed in a second-floor double room this time. 🛏 The room features a basic design with a private bathroom. The space is large enough to lay out two suitcases without any issues. The room has a sea view, though part of the view is obstructed by a platform. 🥤 There's a grassy area with a few tables in front of the hotel. Grabbing two cups of coffee and enjoying the sea breeze and view here is truly delightful. 👍🏻 🍽 Dinner is the hotel's specialty—katsu skewers. The staff provides a quick tutorial, and then you prepare them yourself. The taste is quite good. 👍🏻 ♨️ Besides a large public bath, the hotel also offers two free private baths (reservation required upon check-in). You need to walk out of the hotel and up some stairs to access them. The hot spring pools are quite spacious. 👍🏻 🍽 Breakfast is Japanese-style, and the salad is particularly delicious. 👍🏻 The hotel offers great value for money. Since there aren't many rooms, apart from meal times when everyone gathers, it's rare to encounter other guests. 🤣
