The Roof of Central China - Shennongding

Shennongding Scenic Area is located in the nature reserve in the southwest of Shennongjia, covering a total area of approximately 883.6 square kilometers. It boasts six peaks with elevations above 3,000 meters and is known as the "Roof of Central China." The highest peak, Shennongding, is an extension of the eastern Dabashan Mountains and stands as the highest point of the Dabashan range at 3,106.2 meters above sea level. It is also the tallest mountain in Central China, earning the title "Number One Peak of Central China," from which the Shennongding Scenic Area derives its name.
