Birthday Surprise 1/2 - Carlton City Hotel

Stayed at Carlton City Hotel some years back with some good memories of the place, hence decided to return for my partner’s birthday surprise Stepping into the lobby, we were greeted by beautiful decor and lights, a wall of lush greens and wooden benches for resting while waiting to check in. Checking in was relatively fuss free and the front desk staff was kind to accede to our request for a room on a high floor and late check out at 1pm. The room was spacious and I love that there was a tub available for soaking! Bed was pretty comfortable Location was superb with lots of good food around and a chance to explore the nearby hood on foot too! Will be back!
