A Weird and Wonderful Walk Through Haw Par Villa

#summervacay We visited Haw Par Villa in Singapore and it was one of the most unique places we’ve ever explored. It’s not your typical park this place is filled with colorful statues and strange scenes from Chinese mythology, folklore and moral stories. The most famous (and creepiest) part was the 10 Courts of Hell, which shows what happens to bad souls in the afterlife intense but fascinating. The rest of the park had tigers, gods, demons and lessons about karma everywhere you look. It’s weird, fun and definitely unforgettable. Worth a visit if you’re curious about culture with a twist!
