We wandered through Haji Lane first (hello, street art and cute little shops), grabbed a minty iced tea, then made our way toward the mosque. The streets here are super walkable, filled with colorful shophouses, Middle Eastern restaurants, and indie boutiques. It’s laid-back but still buzzing with energy. There’s something super peaceful about just sitting in the plaza near the mosque, listening to the call to prayer, and watching people go by. It feels like modern city meets old soul.
