Here's a simple route: From Shinjuku, take the JR Yamanote Line to Nippori Station. Once you exit, follow the signs towards "Yanaka Ginza." It's about a 200-meter walk, and you'll soon reach the famous slope that was a filming location for Jay Chou's "Won't Cry" music video. Once you enter Yanaka Ginza, feel free to browse the various unique shops. If you're a cat lover, definitely keep an eye out for all the cat-themed goods! After exploring Yanaka Ginza, set your navigation for Nezu Shrine. It's about 1 km away, roughly a 20-minute walk. If it's hot, I'd suggest taking a taxi. Nezu Shrine itself is incredibly traditional and peaceful, with fewer tourists than other major shrines. Its architecture is very distinctive and contributes to a wonderfully serene atmosphere.
