A Chaotic Senior Trip: Austria, Vienna Part 1, Part 2

After taking a break, we headed to the Hofburg Palace grounds to visit the "World's Most Beautiful Library" and the Austrian National Library, which is said to have inspired "Beauty and the Beast." The entrance is separate from the museum. If you're using the Vienna City Card, you need to show your card at the reception on the first floor to get an admission ticket, and then present the ticket at the entrance on the second floor. Initially, we were told nothing was needed on the first floor, which led to unnecessary back-and-forth—adding strain to my back! Perhaps it depends on the staff? Well, it felt very typical of traveling abroad. The library is filled with an incredible number of books stacked all the way up to the ceiling. It felt like stepping into a movie scene—truly breathtaking. There are also historical exhibits that evoke a sense of the past. The frescoes are stunning as well!
