Fairmont Xiamen

This time, I checked in at Xiamen's newest luxury hotel, the first Fairmont in Fujian Province under Accor, owned by Xiamen Airlines, opened in April 2025. This is one of Fairmont's flagship projects, with interior design by CCD, combining Old Hollywood Art Deco with Nanyang style, along with traditional Minnan elements. Location: No. 325 Donghuang Road, Huli District Next to Xiamen Airlines' new headquarters, about a 15-minute walk to Wutong and Cross-Strait Financial Center metro stations. Nearby shopping areas include Huli Wanda Plaza, and taxis on the island ring road are usually not stuck in traffic. Room type: Fairmont Classic King Room (43m²) The size is standard, rectangular, with a view of Wuyuan Bay cityscape and a side view of the sea. Environment and facilities: The lobby is truly extraordinary. Looking up from below at the 33-story atrium, it resembles an extension of an airplane runway. Four Minnan screens and eight giant arches symbolize Xiamen Airlines' "steady and safe" flight meaning, very grand.
