Wawu Mountain Day Trip: Stunning Sea of Clouds and Lanxi Cliff Walkway 🌞 The weather was great today, so I booked a day trip on Trip.com for only CNY 68! 🚗 We met at Taipingyuan at 7:20 am and set off. We arrived at Wawu Mountain Visitor Center at around 10:40 am and started our adventure. 📌 Our route was as follows: ✨ Ticket Tips: We bought a round-trip ticket for 2 cable cars, which cost CNY 160 in total, including the Jinhua Bridge Cable Car and the Gufoping Cable Car. As soon as we entered the park, we took two cable cars directly to the highest point. From there, we hiked along the Wawu Xiantai Walkway. The walkway passes through a fir forest, and the scenery is beautiful, perfect for taking photos 📷. It took us more than an hour to reach Xiang'er Villa. 🏞️ After a short break at Xiang'er Villa, we continued on to the highlight of Wawu Mountain - the Lanxi Cliff Walkway. The scenery along this walkway is stunning, especially the Lanxi Waterfall, which is breathtaking! I highly recommend you come here 📸. Also, because the weather was so good today, we were lucky enough to see the spectacular sea of clouds 🌄! 📢 Ps: The walkway closes at 1 pm, so make sure you enter before 1 pm if you want to experience it! It took us about three hours to walk down the walkway. At around 3:30 pm, we arrived at the Gufosi Cable Car Mid-Station. I recommend you come down early because there is a queue for the cable car. If you come down too late, the cable car will close at 5 pm, and you'll have to walk down 🚶‍♀️. ❗️ Notes: 1️⃣ There are a few spots on the walkway where waterfall water falls, so I recommend you wear a raincoat or bring a raincoat or umbrella ☔️ to avoid getting wet. 2️⃣ It's best to wear waterproof hiking boots or sneakers, as the road is often wet and slippery, to avoid slipping. Best you get a rental car and just drive around and explore the mountains, rivers, nature and cultures in villages close by. Getting There - cab, bus, train Attractions - old town, although already very touristy Hotels - small boutique hotels inside the city, plenty of options all around Food & Restaurants - local options, commercialized but still some local vendors can be found at the corner of the old town #travel

The entire scenic area is barrier-free and super friendly for everyone, with unbelievably beautiful scenery and few crowds – no queues at all! 🌲 Must-Visit Spots: 📍 Cable Car Station: A must-ride! The round-trip cable car at 120 yuan per person is totally worth it. The 20-minute ride feels like flying through a sea of clouds – be sure to get a window seat for photos. The mist on the descent is magical, like traveling through a fairyland! 📍 Shuangyuan Stream: Crystal-clear waters where you can feed countless koi fish with 9.9 yuan fish food (my hands were swollen from all the nibbling after one bag, lol). Best visited before 10 AM or after 3 PM for fewer crowds and perfect photo lighting. 📍 Lanxi Waterfall: A short walk on wooden planks (not tiring at all) leads to this refreshing waterfall with frequent rainbows! Bring a light jacket as the mist is intense (my hair got soaked but it was totally worth it). 📍 Yuanyang Pool: A legendary romantic spot with mirror-like waters reflecting snow-capped mountains and clouds. My boyfriend and I chose a weekend getaway to flee the city noise and arrived at the Yunshang Peninsula Homestay (Yanü Lake Branch) in Wawu Mountain. Everything here lived up to our expectations—tranquil, romantic, and most importantly, offering an endless "sea" where we could sit quietly and daydream. 🌅 Love at First Sight: The Lakeview Room 🏡 Stepping into the room, the first thing that caught our eyes was the floor-to-ceiling window framing the boundless Yanü Lake.
