I went on a tour of the Peruvian Amazon. We ventured into the Amazon River, visited an indigenous village, ate local food, and met jungle animals and river dolphins. It was a packed two-day, one-night trip. I didn't speak Spanish, but my tour mates were friendly and I had a great time. Apparently, the indigenous people still hunt with blowguns made only from materials found in the jungle, which was also very interesting. Young caiman, which mainly feeds on invertebrates, especially coleoptera, is their main food. Adult caimen mainly feed on vertebrates, including aquatic and terrestrial vertebrates. Strolling on the streets of the town, suddenly, over the river bank, the plane whizzed past, making a huge roar and gliding towards the airport. People who work in the town have long been accustomed to this. Although knowing that this is a transportation hub to the Amazon region, the prosperity of the town is beyond imagination. I have been so skeptical that I have really come to the long-lost Amazon.

In order to see their real life, I ran to the dock of the Amazon River and found a child rowing me to the floating house. There are thousands of people living in the Belem water shack area. They live in a floating house on the water. At about 7 o'clock every day, the market sells fruits and wild animal products harvested from the jungle. When I first arrived at the village, It started to rain, which happened to be the rainy season of the Amazon, so the water level rose very high, but the villagers still drove the ship between the houses. Floating house households are connected, and they are firmly tied together in order to avoid being washed away by water. The fishermen are mostly in and out of the village. The simple style of the fishing village is vivid. The majority of the residents of the floating village are Peruvians who live on fishing and live in the simple waters of Ninglang. The dream of their whole life is to make enough money to buy a fixed house on the shore.
