Why Felidhoo Island in the Maldives Feels Like a Hidden Paradise
If you’re looking for an authentic Maldivian escape, #Felidhoo is the perfect choice. Far from the busy resorts, this island offers tranquility and raw beauty. #postandearn
I booked my stay and speedboat transfer with Trip.com, which made getting to Felidhoo seamless. Once there, I found plenty of simple yet unforgettable activities:
🏖️ Relax on Pristine Beaches – The white sands and turquoise waters feel untouched. It’s the ideal spot for sunbathing or reading with zero crowds.
🐠 Snorkeling – The house reef near Felidhoo is alive with colorful fish, turtles, and even reef sharks. Bring your own gear or rent locally.
🚤 Island Hopping – Take a boat tour to nearby islands like Thinadhoo for a glimpse into local life.
🍛 Taste Local Cuisine – Don’t miss fresh seafood curries and coconut-based dishes at small family-run cafés.
Felidhoo is quiet, serene, and perfect for slowing down. Plan your island adventure with Trip.com and experience a Maldives that feels truly authentic.#snorkeling
How Booking Hotels Online Saved Me €600 in the Maldives
#snorkeling Visiting the #Maldives is a dream for many travelers, but it doesn’t have to be outrageously expensive. One of the best tips I can give you: book your hotels online in advance. #postandearn
I used Trip.com to compare resorts and found deals that saved me over €600 on my stay. Many luxury resorts have last-minute offers or special discounts online that you won’t get if you book directly on-site. This is especially important in the Maldives, where accommodation is often your biggest expense.
Booking early also lets you choose between all-inclusive options or guesthouses on local islands, depending on your budget. Plus, you can read reviews, check transfer costs (speedboat or seaplane), and avoid hidden fees.
With smart planning and online booking, your Maldivian escape can be both dreamy and affordable. Save that extra money for snorkeling trips, spa treatments, or simply enjoying fresh seafood by the turquoise waters.
Plan your perfect island getaway with Trip.com and make every euro count in paradise.
Why Cash Is King When Traveling in the Maldives
Exploring the stunning islands of the #Maldives is a dream, but there’s one important tip I learned: always carry cash. Many small islands and local ferries don’t accept cards, and ATMs aren’t always easy to find. #postandearn
I booked my flights and resort transfers through Trip.com, which made the big logistics smooth. But once on the islands, I realized that paying for speedboats, water taxis, and even some local cafés required cash—often in US dollars.
To avoid stress, withdraw enough at the airport or in Malé before heading to remote islands. Bring a mix of small denominations in both Maldivian Rufiyaa and USD for flexibility. Some resorts and high-end places accept cards, but excursions or tips often don’t.
Having cash on hand means you can fully relax and enjoy the paradise around you—whether it’s hopping on a boat or buying fresh coconut water from a local vendor.
Plan your Maldivian adventure with Trip.com and prepare wisely for an unforgettable experience. #snorkeling
🧜♀️💙🩵Must-visit snorkeling spots in the Maldives🩵💙
📍Address: Vaavu Shipwreck Maldives💦
🫧Snorkeling at the famous Vaavu Shipwreck in the Maldives is amazing! Before reaching the destination, we can already see the bow of the ship emerging from the water, which is exciting.
🥽Here you just need to prepare your snorkeling gear to enjoy the rich marine ecology, various fish and coral reefs.👀
🩵💙The water here is very shallow, so the sea water is very clear and the visibility is very high. This was definitely an unforgettable snorkeling experience!

Tiny Picnic island in the middle of the ocean
This little jewel in the middle of the Indian ocean is such a delight to visit. Its small island with a reception and a few rooms surrounded by a white sandy beach and crystal clear lagoons. Most people used to come here for day trips and picnics. You can hear the tropical birds and the sounds of the waves crashing to the beach everyday. There is a long wooden jetty leading straight to the reef edge where the water is deep enough for boats to moor. I loved my experience here and this trip leaves me with everlasting fond memories. #trip #travel #Maldives #island #Nature
