As expected, the airport of a country whose economy is supported by natural resources such as oil is impressive, and Terminal 1, while small and triangular, felt very spacious. (When you actually walk around, it's not that spacious, so it's easy to use) It has a glittering and luxurious feel, but is also a nice space without being unpleasant, and the onion-shaped shop building was very cute 😊 If you are a tourist with Japanese nationality, you can get a visa at the airport free of charge (limited by the number of days) when you arrive, and the process is easy as you just have to self-register at the machine◎ *The machine supports English. Heydar Aliyev International Airport is known as one of the best airports in the world.. Let's see what we, as users, think about it?? 👍 I like the modernity of the building. The unique design, from the outside, the building has 3 starfish-like lobes using a triangle concept. The ceiling, floor, and sofa are designed using natural materials, creating the most relaxing atmosphere in the building... 😥 What is unusual is the Cocoon Area restaurant zone, designed as a cocoon made of wood in a light brown tone... It's beautiful but hard to access. There are only expensive restaurants. Hehe For us.. The design of the building is the first impression, which is very good. I like it and am excited about the style. But when we went in as users, it looked lacking and not as warm as the image we saw.. ▪️ The money exchange points are separated between buying and selling. ▪️ There is only one exchange point for cash back. The line is very long because it includes the line of people who come to do their taxes in the same line. There was only 1 person to service us. We waited for 45 minutes to exchange money for less than 1 minute. ▪️The gate and the restroom are quite far away, in different zones. ▪️The restaurant is beautiful but hard to access.
