#summervacay Lang Co Beach is a long, crescent-shaped bay nestled between mountains and the sea. Driving here via the Hai Van Pass in summer is breathtaking. The beach itself is quiet, peaceful, and perfect for sunbathing or swimming. I enjoyed a fresh seafood lunch at a beachside restaurant and napped under a shady palm afterward. It’s an idyllic stop that feels unspoiled and refreshing—especially after exploring the history and heat of Hue.

I’ve been to Lang Co now 5 times since I am living in Da Nang on and off. I love Da Nang a lot but once a in a while I need to escape the „hectic“ city live, and Lang Co is definitely the right place for that. It’s simply amazing that this little town got this new resort now. The facility is absolutely amazing. Especially because you get your private little Bungalow with your private pool!

If you find a spot with a great view at Lang Co Bay during sunset, you can witness the local Vietnamese train passing by, adding a perfect touch to the scenery. Lang Co Bay is where Lang Co Lake and Lang Co Beach meet, creating a unique landscape where you can enjoy both the sea and the lake. Visiting during sunset offers an even more stunning view. The road crossing Hai Van Pass is particularly scenic, blending the coastal village of Lang Co with the train tracks and cliffs along the shoreline. It's recommended to travel from Da Nang rather than Hue City for a more enjoyable sightseeing experience.

A cafe you can find while riding Hai Van Pass. **Cà Phê Hòn Đá Thuyền** that I encountered while riding Hai Van Pass was a truly unforgettable place. This cafe is located on a rock, so just sitting there makes you feel like you are part of nature. The view from the rock is so overwhelming that I almost forgot the taste of the coffee. My Grab driver recommended this place, and since then, it has become a must-visit place every time I visit Da Nang. The view along with a cup of coffee at the cafe fills both my eyes and heart. Especially if you visit at sunrise or sunset, you can experience a fantastic moment when the boundary between the sky and the sea becomes blurred.

Hai Van Pass is truly an enchanting place. The view from the car window was breathtakingly beautiful. The scenery, where the blue sea and lush mountains blend together, felt like a painting. Especially at sunset, the red glow reflecting on the sea created a mesmerizing sight. The historical significance of this place cannot be overlooked. Passing by old fortresses and ruins, the stories of past battles and the people who lived through them deeply resonated with me. In this place, where you can feel the time spent with them, I gained a new perspective on Vietnam's history and culture. Driving through Hai Van Pass was not just a journey, but a special experience where nature, history, and culture come together. The experience here was one of the highlights of my trip, and it is a place I would love to visit again.

The winding road was a long ordeal for drivers traveling between Hue and Da Nang, but since the completion of the Hai Van Tunnel, the flow of traffic and safety have improved. Now, there is a Hai Van Tunnel, so most people use the tunnel and only tourists climb this pass. It is said that the left side of the pillar is Da Nang and the right side is Hue. There is a watchtower that the US used during the Vietnam War, so everyone took a certification shot here, so I took one too ㅎㅎ ✔️Lang Co Beach - This village used to be a place where leprosy patients were isolated, but now they have all been cured, and now it is a natural port where fishing boats can dock, and a beautiful place with blue sea and white sand, one of the best scenery in Vietnam. #vietnamtrip Beautiful sandy beach with very clean waters. But very shallow. The locals & the tourists could preserve it a bit cleaner though. The restaurants are decent with fresh seafood of course, but their showers & their wc are a pretty bad experience I'd prefer to forget. Beautiful translucent sea here, with mountain far back. Create a dream like scenery!

The remnant of the Changshan Mountains plunges directly into the sea. Divides the coastal plain into two. You must cross this mountain to go north or south. This is the natural barrier in central Vietnam. It is not only the dividing line between the ancient Champa Kingdom and Dai Viet, It is also the climate dividing line between South Vietnam and North Vietnam. The most amazing thing is, Ma Yuan, a strong and vigorous general of the Han Dynasty, A bronze pillar was erected in the Haiyun Pass area.
