We ended up in Derry by a complete accident, but what a happy one it was! My daughter knew about it from “Derry Girls” on Netflix, and I never really did. We studied together, and we found ourselves incredibly emotional about the hardship that this region had endured throughout the XX century. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay for a couple of days. The cathedrals and pubs are nice and very beautiful. Lovely stay during our time in Derry. Spoke to many lovely people and plenty of walking to be done. Lots of pubs, restaurants and places to go too. Also visited giants causeway and that was amazing. I even found some interactive murals where I could take photos, adding a lot of fun to the trip. My journey in Londonderry began with a walk through the Bogside Murals. These murals are not just artworks but also a reflection of local history and culture. Although I deliberately avoided the heavy history, these murals, with their vivid colors and lively images, showcased the lives and spirit of the local people, making me feel a strong sense of vitality. I carefully appreciated each mural, imagining the stories of the characters in the paintings and feeling their emotions. In front of one of the murals, I met a local artist who enthusiastically explained the creation concepts and stories behind the murals, giving me a deeper understanding of Londonderry. In the afternoon, I joined a local guided walking tour to explore the city center of Londonderry. The guide, a warm and friendly local resident, led us to many unique shops and cafes hidden in the corners of the streets. Grace nearly died on us when she was year half took and infection In asopicus she couldn't breath she was in resuse for hours . since she was born she's never had full night sleep as I have to wake her most night as she has a rare condition that affects her daipharm belly chest . grace is also getting tested for Autism she's 3 and only now she saying very few words . she is a happy little girl even when the wee pet is in hospital which is alot since she was born just recently they found brain tumer non cancerous but if it gets bigger she will need sugery as it's right in centre of her brain . this whish would mean everything to us
