I definitely recommend to walk the Great Wall at Jinshanling. Start at the East entrance and walk towards the main entrance. Yes it is not an easy walk but defenitely worth it! I experienced the Great Wall walk more as a Great Steps walk BTW 😉 Wear solid shoes! We started at 16:00 and walked towards the west, the Sun went down at 19:00. The bus only contained 10 people, but when we arrived it was packed with Chinese tourists.
