The only downside was the entrance fee, which felt a bit steep, especially for families, but overall, it was worth it for the experience. #uktrip We had a fantastic time at Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery! It’s the perfect mix of art and history, set in a beautiful location with amazing views over the city. The art collection is really impressive, with a great mix of classic and modern works. We were lucky to catch the Claude Monet exhibition! Seeing Monet’s work up close, along with paintings from other famous Impressionist artists like Renoir and Pissarro, was an incredible experience. The history exhibits are just as good. The museum does a great job of telling Nottingham’s story, from medieval times to the present. There’s lots about Robin Hood, the castle’s past, and even some underground caves to explore! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s easy to walk around, and there’s plenty to see without feeling overwhelmed. If you’re visiting Nottingham, this museum is a must-see! Whether you love art, history, or just exploring cool places, you won’t be disappointed. Before Christmas, I went to Nottingham in central England and strolled around the Christmas market in the city center. There was a very beautiful Ferris wheel and many stalls next to it, selling all kinds of Christmas decorations and Santa hats. It was very unique and full of Christmas atmosphere.

Amazing venue, Performed at the Royal Concert Hall for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been to gigs here but always wanted to play on the stage. It didn’t disappoint. Just a wonderful room to perform and the audience were brilliant. Getting there could not be easier basically get the Park n Ride Tram and you are right outside the front door. Great for those not keen on walking or those who use wheelchairs. The snacks on offer and drinks are nice, well-priced and tasty. #nottingham #theatre royal

However despite what happened on tuesday with the vicious evil attacks. the market and other activities were allowed to carry on as normal and a fitting tribute to all who lost loved ones in the attack. Also outside the council house on the steps is rows n rows of flowers dedicated to the people who suffered. the food was great the bar was ok but didn't stock basics like bacardi or dark rum, no draught lager as all was in bottles and only peroni and corona, and only 1 choice of real ale, only problem we heard about was they run out of peroni #nottingham #oldmarketsquare

Absolutely fabulous, taxi dropped us right at the entrance. Brilliant view from our seats, although the concrete steps were a little scary, and the handrails had too many gaps in them. But the view was incredible. All of the arena staff were amazing, helping people on the steps and very friendly. Well signposted and easy to find. Staff helpful and informative. We went to see Torvill and Dean and had a great time. Seating is excellent. We had a perfect view of the performance. #nottingham #motorpointarena

A visit to Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem is like stepping back in time. Known as one of the oldest pubs in England, this legendary inn claims to have been established in 1189 AD. my first visit to the City Ground to watch the match against Crystal Palace. Having lived in Nottingham for over 10 years it was about time. The match was at night, and the stadium was lit up. Lovely traditional premier league stadium which there are not many of any more situated right next to the river Trent and located just a stone’s throw away from their rivals notts county stadium plus Trent bridge cricket ground. Many Bars and restaurants surround the venue so plenty of options pre kick off and they also have a fan zone area with music #nottingham #thegroundcity

The beautifully restored windmill is a fascinating piece of history, and seeing it in action was a highlight. Learning about how flour is traditionally milled was both educational and engaging. The Science Centre was also a big hit, packed with fun and interactive exhibits. There are many levels to the windmill. The view outside the windows on the lower levels is still something to behold. The science centre is on the small side. But there are still exhibits that held my daughter's attention for more than a minute. #nottingham #windmill

Very relaxed and clean city, with lots to do, specially if you like football and history, with that bit extra of Robin Hood Legend adventures. Beautiful city at night and very easy to go around with public transports.

What a wonderful place for a walk, the gardens are beautiful and it was lovely to see the deer and the birds, especially the Mandarin duck. It is really nice to visit during summertime with friends and family for picnics. If you ride bicycles, do get it. You will enjoy the ride around the lake and to the top. Ample pay and display parking inside the park. You will certainly enjoy the place. #nottingham

Nottingham Castle was pretty awesome. At first we were only planning on spending a few hours there but we ended up being there all day. The grounds are clearly well looked after, and the exhibits are genuinely engaging covering everything from its legendary Robin Hood connections to its significant role in the Civil War. a fine art exhibition at the moment called Forest. That is the dessert apart from the nice view outside of the castle which can see the whole Nottingham. Modern and history combination. #nottingham #nottinghamcastle
