💞Recommendation reason:
The King's Castle is located in Orschwiller, France. It is a medieval castle. I visited it during Christmas. It snowed that day. There was snow outside the castle and in uncovered areas indoors, which gave the castle a unique look.
The interior of the castle displays the living space and utensils of medieval nobles, including richly decorated living rooms and dining rooms, as well as an exhibition hall displaying hunting trophies - deer antlers. You can follow the guide and listen to some small stories, which is very interesting.
Because the castle is located on a mountain, it is recommended to drive yourself. You can park your car halfway up the mountain and then walk up the mountain to reach the entrance of the castle.

Eugenisburg
Eugenisburg (Chateau du Haut-Knigsbourg), also known as the King's Castle, is located in Orschwiller, Alsace, France. The castle was originally built in the mid-12th century and was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War in the 17th century. It was later restored in the early 20th century. The castle is famous for its majestic appearance and typical royal decorations. It was built by German Emperor Wilhelm II as a royal castle to permanently rule Alsace and Lorraine. However, after Germany's defeat in World War I, the castle was returned to France. The castle is known for its pink sandstone appearance, entirely constructed from pink sandstone, making it very striking. Situated on the Vosges Mountains, it holds significant strategic importance. Today, it has become a popular tourist attraction where visitors can overlook the surrounding scenery and experience the medieval atmosphere.

Chateau du Haut-Koenigsbourg
Chateau du Haut-Koenigsbourg
Located on the Steubenbeck Mountain at an altitude of 755 meters, it has an advantageous geographical location. It runs from west to east and intersects the plain vertically. It stands at the intersection of many commercial roads at the time and occupies an important position. The castle was originally owned by the Duke of Schwab of Germany, and in the middle was the Habsburg family. In 1479, it was transferred to other families as a fiefdom. In the end, the castle could not withstand the wars of all sizes, was looted and burned, and was abandoned for more than 250 years.
