Secret shop of Thai desserts & Lanna desserts, rare items that are hard to find
🌙 🥥"Jan Fong" is a local Lanna Thai & Northern dessert shop that recently opened in Chiang Mai, in the Pa Daet area. It is currently being talked about because it is almost like a Thai dessert museum for people who have never tried it before to come and try it because they have rare Thai desserts that are rotated every day.
.
🥠"Jan Fong" is a Thai dessert shop with a local name that comes from Grandma Jan Fong, the mother of Wan, the shop owner. The shop is located in the same area as the famous restaurant, Thap Ping by Anjakinn, in a small house in the front. There is a cafe-style seating area or you can buy it to take home and get a cute tote bag.
.
🌾The main menu will be a variety of Thai desserts that are not often seen. They may have been vaguely in my childhood memories, but are now almost impossible to find, such as the local Lanna dessert menu, such as "Khanom Wong", a northern dessert that looks like a mini donut with crispy dough and sugar, and "Khanom Kluea", a white sheet wrapped in banana leaves. Salty and sweet, “Khanom Ling Ma” mixed with coconut has a chewy texture, or coconut sugar cup cake, rice cracker juice, Khanom Jok, banana porridge cake, Hong Kong egg cake, stuffed cake, banana cake, Thai melon cake, Matum jelly, Singaporean Lod Chong, or daily special dessert menu.
Thai desserts here are made with a non-sweet recipe, very good ingredients, can be eaten continuously. Desserts are gradually added throughout the day, but some may run out quickly. If you go a bit early, there may be more to choose from. The dessert menu is ordered as a set (2 pieces or 5 pieces) starting at 25.- In addition to Thai desserts, there are also breakfast sets, soft-boiled egg sets, and beverage menus such as tea, iced coffee, Yok Lo, longan juice, etc. starting at 45.-
