Not only is it conveniently located, but it also lets you escape the hustle and bustle, immersing you in Ubud's serenity and beauty. Alam Jiwa boasts an unbeatable location, surrounded by rice fields and adorned with unique Balinese-style decor. The hotel's design is infused with rich Balinese elements, featuring intricately carved wooden doors and traditional furniture at every turn. Here, you’ll always find a sense of peace. As for amenities, their stunning swimming pool is a highlight, offering a relaxing view of the picturesque countryside. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, providing detailed check-in guidance that makes you feel right at home. For the room experience, the Ganesa room at Alam Jiwa is especially worth recommending. The spacious room allows you to unwind completely, and the bathroom is equally impressive, offering both a shower and a bathtub, plus a charming view overlooking the fields. A must-visit nearby is the Sacred Monkey Forest, just a short walk from the hotel, though it’s best to avoid the monkeys' busiest main street. Local restaurants like Laku Leke left a deep impression on me, especially their "dirty duck" dish—each visit makes me fall a little more in love with Bali. Don’t miss out on a local cooking class, such as the one at Bali Keto Cooking School, which is highly recommended. Strolling through the nearby villages, you’ll always stumble upon new discoveries. Of course, nothing is perfect, and Alam Jiwa has a minor flaw: the pool area is a bit dimly lit at night, so brighter lighting for evening swims would be ideal. Still, this small issue doesn’t detract from the overall joy of the stay. In short, this "hidden gem in the rice fields" made my trip truly worthwhile. In one arrangement, the front desk reception was very welcoming, and they really made me feel welcome. The hotel retains a strong Balinese style, with local decorations throughout the rooms and public areas. 🌺 The moment I entered the room, I was conquered by its spaciousness and comfort, especially the Ganesa room, the whole space makes people feel very relaxed. The large bathroom has a bathtub and shower, and the shower overlooks the rice fields, which is super cool! The room was spotless, and every corner revealed perfect organization and care. There is a free shuttle bus here, making transportation to and from Ubud simple and convenient. The bus service is until 9:30pm which is very considerate. The hotel's tranquil and tropical surroundings are ideal for relaxation. From a geographical point of view, this hotel is like hidden in a green garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The exterior of the hotel is full of Bali's unique traditional architectural style. The wooden platforms and beautifully carved paths make people feel as if they are in a travel album. The lobby is elegantly decorated with Balinese local style. The staff is warm and attentive, and every time you walk into the hotel you feel like you are coming home. The reception when we checked in was also very smooth and friendly. The little brother who greeted us was full of smiles, which made us feel warm 😊. We stayed in the Ganesa room this time. It was very spacious and the Balinese-style furniture made the whole room look gorgeous and warm. The bathroom is particularly worth mentioning. It is a large space equipped with a bathtub and shower, both of which overlook the beautiful rice fields. This design is really great! Waking up every morning is a pleasure and the peaceful view outside the window is very relaxing.
