[Mallorca, Spain] Alcúdia: beaches, markets, good weather all year round
Alcúdia, located in the northern part of Mallorca, Spain, is a British tourist destination just like Faro, Portugal. Because there are stretches of fine sandy beaches and desolate and towering cliffs that can be admired from the sea. The rich history itself gives the city a majestic medieval center and many traditions that you absolutely must witness with your own eyes. There are mountains, seas, ancient cities, and a super famous market, so there are rich travel programs.
Alcúdia was officially founded in 1325 by King James II, after whom the church of St. James is named. From that time you can still admire one of Alcudia's two city walls. Another is from the Renaissance. If you have time, walk the narrow, winding streets, get lost and look at all the architecture. Some of them once belonged to nobles, which is really amazing!
But remember, Alcudia is a very popular destination, so be sure to book in advance.
