[Aomori City] If you go to Aomori, this is a must-do☝️
This was my first time trying Aomori's specialty "Nokkedon" 😋
where you choose your favorite toppings and create your own bowl of rice in your own style.
I went there for breakfast.
Before buying a ticket, I took some time to browse the items in the store and take photos 😁
It's a good idea to check out the selection at each store first so you don't regret it later ✨
The staff were very kind when I was choosing my toppings,
and I think this interaction itself is part of the fun of Nokkedon!
Then I bought my ticket at the ticket booth.
There are two types, a set of 5 for 750 yen and a set of 10 for 1,500 yen. If you want to pile on the food, 10 tickets would be fine, but I chose the 5-ticket set 💵. In fact, even if you run out of tickets, you can pay additional cash at each store for 150 yen per ticket 👍. After much deliberation, I decided on 1 rice, 1 medium fatty tuna, 1 Hachinohe marinated mackerel, 1 soft milt, 1 handmade omelet, 150 yen for Aomori-produced cod kelp pickled squid, 150 yen for roe, and a free Aomori-produced flounder for a total of 5 tickets + 300 yen, and a bowl of 1,050 yen was completed 🎉. Hmm! Delicious😆
It's filled with all my favorite things,
and all the ingredients are fresh and of satisfying quality🎯
If you like sweet tamagoyaki,
don't miss Yamasho Takano's tamagoyaki😉
If you go too early,
the ingredients won't be lined up,
and if you go too late,
the ingredients will be gone,
so make sure to visit at a reasonable time🙋♂️
(All the stores were lined up around 8:30 on this day)
Definitely, this is a recommended Aomori specialty!
Access: About 5 minutes walk from JR Aomori Station
