Asia University Museum of Contemporary Art
The Asia University Contemporary Art Museum is an art palace designed by the world-renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. It is located on the campus of Asia University in Wufeng District, Taichung City. It is Tadao Ando's first building in Taiwan and his first campus art museum building in the world. The museum has a unique architectural style, using plain concrete and curtain walls with equilateral triangular design elements to create a staggered spatial effect.
The museum has three floors, which respectively display the original collections of Asia University and the works of young Asian artists, as well as special exhibitions held from time to time. The museum also cooperates and exchanges with well-known university art museums around the world, providing students and the general public with opportunities to appreciate art and learn culture. The Museum of Modern Art affiliated to Asia University is not only a new landmark of the cultural landscape of Central Taiwan, but also the pride of Taiwan in the international art world. It is worth visiting ✨✨
