The Bagrati Cathedral sits up on a hill with awesome views, and if you’re into markets, the Green Bazaar is chaotic but kinda fun. It rained heavily the next day, so I stayed in the B&B, relying on the remaining purchases from the previous day and the bean soup and bread sent by the landlord, without making a move. On the third day, it became overcast and cloudy. I felt a little cooler and there was humidity in the air. I went out for a walk and got on a minibus to the suburbs. After returning to the city, I wandered around the local market and found that I could buy 5 of them for 2 lari. Apples, when I first arrived in Tbilisi, I remember spending 2 lari to buy an apple. Later I discovered that buying regular fruits such as apples, bananas and oranges in the city cost roughly 1 lari each. On the fourth day we checked out, the weather was so good that in the back garden of Mtsvanekvavila Church we could clearly see the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the green-roofed Bagrat on the other side of the river. In the afternoon, I went to my favorite bakery and bought a bunch of snacks. I ordered some food at a restaurant along the way to enjoy the sun. Then I strolled to the train station early. The train from Kutaisi to Batumi was extremely slow and there weren’t many people there. , very suitable for people with procrastination to code...
