When craving Korean BBQ while visiting Jeju Island, you have to check out Black Pork Street. The street is actually not that long at all, but when walking down it you will notice that most of the restaurants there are barbecue restaurants, and they all serve delicious cuts of black pork to grill (which Jeju is well known for). We were pretty worried about the language barrier when choosing a restaurant, but the one we chose had staff who made us feel so welcomed and helped us a lot to order everything we needed. The restaurant we enjoyed had young butchers helping with the barbecue, and their service was quite diligent and thoughtful, I recommend it. The pork belly and Matsusaka meat were both very delicious. I don’t know if it was because they were too delicious but I felt a little unsatisfied. I also felt that the portion was a bit small for a guy. Later, while traveling in Jeju Island, we tried other restaurants and found that the quality of the meat was much inferior.
