Located in Yokohama, the Tokyo Ramen Museum is a themed museum dedicated to showcasing and promoting ramen culture.
The museum’s design seems to take you back to Showa-era Japan, where the retro streets and restaurants give a strong sense of nostalgia.
In addition, the museum offers a ramen making experience where you can try making ramen with your own hands and feel the fun every weekend with special events such as ramen tastings and cooking shows that give you a deeper understanding of ramen culture.
At the end of your visit, you can purchase related items at the souvenir shop and take them home as a fond memory The Tokyo Ramen Museum is not only a paradise for ramen lovers, but also a great place to experience Japanese food culture.
💰Average consumption per person: 3000yen

📍Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier | Minatomirai
Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier, where you can feel the view of Minatomirai up close, is a popular hotel for anniversary stays.
The compact yet cutely designed rooms have a good balance of both functionality and chic with calm colors, making for a comfortable stay 🪄
This time I stayed in the Superior Queen (chair type). The large windows overlook the city of Yokohama, and the night view was really beautiful 🌃✨
There is a counter where you can work in the room, and the bathroom and toilet are separate, making it extremely easy to use.
The 20th floor is equipped with a sky pool and jet bath with a sense of openness. Currently, guests can use it without making a reservation, which is a nice point 🫧 You can relax while looking at the view of Yokohama.
In the evening, you can enjoy a drink at the bar on the 20th floor while enjoying the beautiful night view and sky 🍸 Especially on sunny days, the sparkling night view of Minatomirai looks even more beautiful...!
And one of the attractions of Mitsui Garden Hotel is the breakfast 🍴
The Japanese and Western buffet uses plenty of local Kanagawa ingredients and has a rich selection of dishes, especially the pasta made with Shonan whitebait. They also offer freshly baked French toast and a wide variety of menu items, making it a luxurious way to start your day.
It's conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Minatomirai Station, making it perfect for sightseeing. It's just a short walk from the station, so it's very convenient for sightseeing and business use🫶🏻

🇯🇵Yokohama Music Temple "K-Arena" Are you willing to watch concerts with me for the rest of my life? !
#MayGoodGo2025 #ConcertSpot #Lifetime
🎸 Standing proudly in the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama City, Yokohama K-Arena is a dedicated music performance venue that will be opened in September 2023.
🎸 As part of the "K-Arena Project", it forms the "Music Terrace" together with the Hilton Yokohama Hotel and the K-Tower commercial building, aiming to create an international art and cultural district that combines music, dining, entertainment and port scenery.
🎸K-Arena is famous for its capacity of up to about 20,000 seats, making it one of the largest indoor venues dedicated to music in the world. The diamond-shaped venue design focuses on excellent sound field effects and audience experience. The rock area on the first floor is full of shock. As long as I can squeeze in front of the stage, I am willing to do anything. It's really high up. The 7th floor stands can also clearly see the stage, and the experience is not discounted.
🎸There are restaurants, bars and plenty of lockers around the venue, providing a convenient and comfortable viewing environment, which is a great choice for large-scale concerts.
🚗Transportation strategy, there are many signs after exiting the "East Exit" of Yokohama Station, and you can arrive smoothly by following the crowd on the day of the concert.

The Serenity of Being Surrounded by the Sea - A Stay at InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8
When you think of "staying in Yokohama," images of the illuminated Ferris wheel, Bay Bridge, and the harbor scenery come to mind.
InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8 is a hotel where you can experience all of these in a way that feels like you're enveloped by them.
Located right by the harbor, quietly nestled at the end of Hammerhead, this hotel offers a unique sensation as if you are "inside the sea itself."
⸻
A Tranquil Check-In Experience for Adults
The first surprise upon arrival was the serene atmosphere of the dedicated check-in lounge✨
From the lighting to the scent and even the tone of voices, everything felt soothing, naturally switching your mindset to "the extraordinary is about to begin." 😊
⸻
Rooms Open to the Harbor, Perfect for Nighttime Contemplation
The room I was guided to featured a window that offered a panoramic view of the sea and harbor scenery. As the sun gradually set and the lights of the Ferris wheel and city reflected on the water, simply sitting by the open curtains brought a sense of fulfillment✨
The night was incredibly quiet, with only the sounds of ships and a faint breeze. This hotel felt less like a place to "stay" and more like a place to "spend time."
⸻
Refined Comfort in Every Detail
The guest rooms are designed with soft tones, and the bathrooms feature deep bathtubs with windows.
Soaking in the bath while gazing at the harbor lights was pure bliss 🚢
Amenities are by THANN, and the linens and bathrobes are of high quality. Every detail felt thoughtfully chosen, not settling for "this will do" but rather "this is perfect."
⸻
A Beautiful Morning Starting with Breakfast
Breakfast is served at the rooftop restaurant. Freshly baked bread, perfectly cooked rice, and miso soup made with carefully prepared dashi.
The offerings are not overly extravagant but showcase "just the right amount of luxury" through quality ingredients and craftsmanship.
Enjoying breakfast quietly while overlooking the harbor scenery felt less like a morning routine and more like a memorable experience 🥐
⸻
A Hotel That Makes You Think, "I Can't Believe This Place Exists in Yokohama"
Pier 8 is convenient for sightseeing, but more than that, it’s a place where you’ll want to "stay in the hotel." ✨
Free from noise and flashiness, it’s a hotel that allows for a "stay to rediscover yourself."
Perfect for celebrating special occasions with someone or as a personal treat. It leaves a quiet lingering impression that makes you want to return.
⸻

[Yokohama] The popular Korean brand KamJapan has arrived in Japan! [Kamjabat]
The popular Korean Kam Japan has arrived in Japan! □ Kamjabat 📍 Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture Directly connected to Yokohama Station! This shop inside FOOD&TIME ISETAN YOKOHAMA offers takeout of the popular Korean Kam Japan! It seems to have opened this spring. There was also a corner where you could enjoy potato character goods and one-word messages such as Pochu Potato as if you were reading a fortune. I could have warmed up the Kam Japan in the microwave, but since I had the chance, I steamed it in my steamer at home. The outside of the bun is sprinkled with sesame and kinako (soybean flour), and it is chewy and very delicious. The inside is filled with fluffy, sweet potatoes, and it was very satisfying to eat! If you want to try the popular Kam Japan, be sure to buy it as a souvenir from Yokohama! #EnjoyJapan

Yamashita Park – Yokohama’s Waterfront Gem
#cityplaybook
#localguides #familytrip
Located along the scenic waterfront of Yokohama, Yamashita Park is a beloved oasis where urban life meets the calming rhythm of the sea. Opened in 1930, the park was constructed using rubble from the Great Kanto Earthquake and has since evolved into one of Yokohama’s most iconic public spaces.
Strolling through Yamashita Park offers a refreshing escape, with wide promenades, elegant flower beds, and panoramic views of Yokohama Bay. One of the most famous landmarks within the park is the historic ocean liner Hikawa Maru, now a museum ship that once carried passengers across the Pacific Ocean. The park also features memorials, statues (including the iconic "Girl with the Red Shoes"), and beautifully manicured gardens that change with the seasons.
Whether you’re taking a peaceful walk, enjoying a picnic, or simply watching ships pass by, Yamashita Park invites both relaxation and reflection. In the spring and summer, the flower beds bloom with vibrant colors, while autumn paints the park in warm golden hues. It’s also a perfect spot to enjoy views of the Minato Mirai skyline and the nearby Yokohama Marine Tower.
Yamashita Park is not just a tranquil green space—it’s a symbol of Yokohama’s resilience and cosmopolitan spirit. Accessible and welcoming year-round, this waterfront park offers a slice of serenity for visitors of all ages.

Yokohama, located just south of Tokyo in Kanagawa Prefecture, is Japan’s second-largest city and a dynamic coastal destination with a rich international history. Once a small fishing village, Yokohama transformed into a major port city when Japan opened to the world in the 19th century. Today, it offers a unique mix of futuristic waterfront architecture, historical charm, and vibrant cultural scenes.

At the heart of modern Yokohama is Minato Mirai 21, a sleek urban area known for its iconic skyline featuring the Landmark Tower, shopping malls, museums, and a giant Ferris wheel. The waterfront promenade is ideal for leisurely walks with views of Yokohama Bay.
Historic Influences
Yokohama’s Yamashita Park and Motomachi district retain a cosmopolitan flair, shaped by the city’s role in international trade. Visit the Yokohama Foreign General Cemetery, explore charming Western-style houses in the Yamate area, and stroll through the picturesque Harbor View Park for a taste of 19th-century elegance.
Chinatown
Home to one of the largest Chinatowns in the world, Yokohama offers a dazzling array of Chinese cuisine, colorful temples, and cultural festivals. The Kanteibyo Temple and countless food stalls make it a must-visit spot.
Cultural Attractions
Art lovers can enjoy the Yokohama Museum of Art, while families might prefer the Cup Noodles Museum or Cosmo World amusement park. The city’s mix of heritage and innovation provides something for every traveler.

Yokohama Osanbashi Pier
Yokohama Osanbashi Pier, a scenic spot by the bay featuring a wave-like wooden deck and green lawn, is perfect for a leisurely stroll, enjoying the sea breeze, and taking in panoramic views of Minato Mirai city, Yokohama Bay Bridge, and the bay. The highlight of this location is its renovation, transforming the deck into a green public park, which adds natural spaces to the city, reduces heat, and promotes eco-friendly practices. This area is open for everyone to relax or exercise, serving as a prime example of blending port functionality with environmental conservation concepts.

InterContinental Yokohama pier8 Super Suite
We stayed in an 80-square-meter one-bedroom balcony suite at InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8. We were amazed as soon as we opened the door. The light that turned on automatically when the door opened revealed a fresh and elegant design and atmosphere. The bright decoration style made people feel refreshed, and their mood became cheerful and light. Every corner of the room showed exquisite taste and texture. There was a sink and a cabinet with a full sense of design at the entrance. There was a mini bar, a small refrigerator, and even a celebrity-level sea view terrace.
Lounge scenery 1: You can sit in a comfortable chair at any time to enjoy the harbor and sea views, Marine & Walk, the Ferris wheel and another InterContinental Hotel landmark, or simply relax in the warm sunshine, feel the refreshing sea breeze, and enjoy fine wine and delicious food. During happy hour, there are two savory dishes and a semi buffet, as well as many drink options, including non-alcoholic beer and non-alcoholic cocktails.
In fact, the lobby-shaped staircase, the reception hall on the second floor, the restaurant, the atrium garden, and the lounge club on the rooftop are all filled with meticulous design, displaying a unique style and delicate details, which is truly outstanding.

Yokohama Itinerary
On the first day, we arrived in Yokohama around 3 PM. After checking in, we headed to Vanilla Beans the Roastery. Next, we walked to the Red Brick Warehouse, and then to Leonard's Donuts, a shop originating from Honolulu, Hawaii, known for its Portuguese donuts without holes. We bought an original flavor, which was quite delicious when eaten hot. We continued walking to Tonkatsu Aoki Yokohama Bashamichi. After a satisfying meal, we walked to the Yokohama Air Cabin Sakuragicho Station and took it to Unga Park. Finally, we walked back to the hotel, enjoying the view of the Ferris wheel along the way, which was beautifully lit up at night.
The itinerary also includes Yokohama Chinatown and Yamashita Park, which we visited on other days around noon. We took the subway to Yokohama Chinatown and Motomachi-Chukagai, then strolled through Yamashita Park, walking back to the hotel. The cool weather in March made the walk quite pleasant.
Compared to Tokyo, I prefer Yokohama a bit more. Although it’s not as bustling as Tokyo, it’s less crowded, making it a more comfortable place to travel. The accommodation prices are also relatively cheaper, and Yokohama has all the shopping destinations one could need.

Gundam Unicorn Statue at DiverCity Tokyo
One of the coolest moments in Odaiba was seeing the life-sized Unicorn Gundam statue! It’s massive and looks like it just stepped out of an anime. The details on the Gundam were insane, and I loved how it switches between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode at scheduled times – complete with lights and moving parts! The plaza around it is also lively, with lots of shops and food spots inside DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. A must-visit for anime lovers and anyone into futuristic vibes!
Use tips:
🥇Best time to visit: late afternoon to catch the light show.
🥇Easy access via Yurikamome Line (Daiba Station) or Rinkai Line (Tokyo Teleport Station).
🥇Free to view outside the mall!

A Hidden Gem in Yokohama: Cafe Salon Sonjin
#celebrateit
I recently visited Cafe Salon Sonjin on a quiet weekday morning, and it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in Yokohama, this cafe is an oasis for adults seeking a calm and peaceful spot to unwind. The atmosphere is cozy, with a sophisticated vibe that makes you feel right at home.
The menu features a variety of enticing lunch options and desserts, but I couldn’t resist ordering the thick pancakes. They were absolutely delicious—fluffy, warm, and topped with just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect treat to enjoy with a cup of coffee while relaxing in the tranquil setting.
**Why I Recommend Cafe Salon Sonjin:**
- The ambiance is ideal for those who want to escape the noise and relax.
- The pancakes are a must-try; they’re thick, soft, and so satisfying!
If you’re in the area and want to enjoy a calm, grown-up cafe experience with great food, I highly recommend visiting.

I thought Tokyo was beautiful until I arrived at Yokohama Future Port
I really like Yokohama, it feels like a city from anime.
It is not as crowded as Tokyo, it is more comfortable and cozy.
What is particularly surprising is that you can clearly see Mount Fuji here.
When you come to Tokyo for a trip, you must set aside a day for this place.
Yokohama is very close to Tokyo, it only takes 30 to 40 minutes by JR, etc.
Or, if you travel to Tokyo, staying in Yokohama is also a good choice.

Yokohama ~ Minato Mirai and Yokohama Chinatown ~
#0yentravelFebruary2025
🚉A short walk from Kannai Station (JR/Subway Blue Line) in Chinatown, you can eat piping hot soup-filled xiaolongbao.
🌟There are so many Chinese restaurants that it's hard to decide where to go, but most of them serve freshly made xiaolongbao.
I also recommend taking it out and eating it at the nearby Yamashita Park. It may be difficult in the cold season, but the view of Yokohama's port is romantic and you can take wonderful photos.
🛥️A short walk from Yamashita Park is Cosmo World, a small amusement park with free admission.
Here, you only need to pay the necessary amount for the attractions you want to ride, so you can go to the site and decide whether or not to ride the attractions depending on your mood that day.
🎡I recommend the Ferris wheel! The view from the window is very beautiful, and the great thing about it is that you can see Minato Mirai in 360 degrees.
In winter, there is a Christmas market at Akarenga near Cosmo World, so you can enjoy the atmosphere of a German Christmas market while in Japan.
Also, near Kannai Station, there is Yokohama Stadium, where you can purchase merchandise for the Yokohama BayStars, who will be the number one team in Japan in 2024!
Right next to it is Yokohama Park, where you can enjoy colorful tulips in spring, making it a lovely walking course.

Lovely Afternoon Tea at Yokohama Grand Intercontinental
#getgoing2025
I visited the Yokohama Grand Intercontinental with a friend for afternoon tea on the weekend, and it was such a delightful experience!
The highlight was definitely the unique tea stand shaped like a ship's sail—it added such a fun, nautical touch to the whole setting. We went for the strawberry-themed afternoon tea, and it was just as beautiful as it was delicious.
The sweets were incredibly cute, especially the strawberry tarts and cakes, and everything was fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor. The savory items, like finger sandwiches, were also spot-on, making for a well-rounded afternoon treat.
Why I recommend Yokohama Grand Intercontinental:
The unique sail-shaped tea stand adds a fun twist to the experience.
The strawberry afternoon tea is both visually stunning and delicious.
