4pm is the best time to take photos! At this time, the setting sun shines obliquely into the church, and the gray-white limestone of the dome will appear honey-colored. You can kneel on the stone steps directly below (a short stay is allowed) and ask your companion to take a bird's-eye view photo from the second-floor corridor - you will be surrounded by geometric light spots in the camera, like the protagonist chosen by sacred geometry. First, touch the ochre brick wall outside the church (Guarini used bricks and stones to simulate the miracle of lightness), and then climb up the spiral staircase to the dome mezzanine. The narrow stairs can only accommodate one person. Numbers from the 17th century are carved on the stone wall. When your fingertips run over the rough carvings, you will high-five with the architect across time and space. Don’t rush to take photos after reaching the summit - take a minute to listen to the subtle vibrations of the dome structure in the wind, which is the most vivid annotation of the "frozen music" of Baroque architecture.
