Just as my friend recommended, the Miyako soba was absolutely delicious!! But my biggest recommendation here is the "puriimo mochi" (beniimo mochi)😍 As a fan of purple sweet potato sweets, I couldn't resist trying it. The mochi is completely covered in white sesame seeds, making it crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside—exquisite!! I ate so much I could only eat one, but even now, thinking about it, I want to eat it again. After filling my stomach, I went down the stairs to the right of the restaurant and headed to Ohama Beach 🏖 There were no people swimming, but many people were taking photos on the beach with the Ikema Bridge in the background, and it had the clearest water of all the beaches I visited this time!! One thing to note is that there isn't much parking. There aren't many people on this beach, so you can take as many photos as you want 🤳 The entrance to the beach is a great spot to take photos! You can get to Ohama Beach by going down the stairs next to the restaurant next door, Umikurai! The stairs are steep and slippery, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes! It's a good idea to stop by after visiting the shop! The Ikema Bridge, which connects Ikema Island, which floats to the north of Miyakojima, is surrounded by an enerald green sea that is so beautiful it's dazzling! I went to Kaimi-ru, a souvenir shop and restaurant located just across Ikema Island from Miyakojima. The purple sweet potato mochi seems to be popular, so I bought some. The purple mochi was surrounded by plenty of fragrant roasted sesame seeds, and it was hot and delicious. If you buy mango, they will cut it for you. Miyakojima mangoes are really delicious^^ There was also Blue Seal ice cream☆ If you go up to the roof of the store after shopping, you can see a spectacular panoramic view☆ There is a staircase to the right of Kaimi-ru that leads down to the beach, which connects to Ohama Beach. It's so beautiful, so please go and check it out!!
