CocoPark is one of the older malls in Shenzhen and has been the hub of downtown Futian for many years, it has one of the most diverse restaurant offerings in the city and is a buzz on evenings and weekends. It is anchored by a few big shops including Uniqlo, Muji, Adidas and Calvin Klein but it is predominantly driven by it’s eating and drinking. It has lots of Asian restaurants, lots of coffee shops and of course a big Shake Shack. It is built around a big open space which is often used for seasonal promotions and activities, especially throughout the summer. I like coming here on the weekends for brunch as there are lots of western style offerings and plenty of options for coffee, in the evenings you can choose from everything from Korean to Thai and of course lots of hot pot options. It can get very busy on the weekends and is within walking distance of shopping park station & convention center station. There is a second phase of coco park across the road but that mainly features smaller womens clothes shops, bank branches and kids places. CoCoPark has so many delicious foods, and one of my favorites is this Singaporean restaurant. From the decoration to the entire dining experience, it is very gorgeous. If you want to check in like crazy, this place can meet your needs. There is a classical Western dining table near the entrance, with flowers all over the table. On the other side, there is a spiral staircase connecting to the upper level. There are also arched dining tables in the venue. The purple design is matched with gorgeous tableware and lighting, making it feel like dining in an ancient castle. Before you order, the restaurant has already prepared a sweet welcome drink paired with a heart-shaped butter bun so you can slowly choose what to eat. There are so many food choices here! It would be a shame for two of us because there were many things we wanted to order but couldn't finish, and there were also many desserts. Considering that we would go somewhere else, we only had the main dishes. 🔹Slow-cooked Bak Kut Teh This Bak Kut Teh is very rich, with a fragrant wolfberry flavor in every bite, and the pork ribs are very full, tender and tasty. Today I'm on holiday and I'm going north to have fun with my friends. The quality was really good, from the spicy mala-tang to the tender beef and fresh vegetables. Above all, the service was very friendly and fast. They provided nail service and snacks while I was waiting, so it wasn't boring, and I could see the Chinese performance noodle pulling, which was a different kind of fun. Normal Monday, just gone for a walk in Shenzhen Coco Park is located at MTR Line 1, just 10 min ride from Futian train station linked with Lok Ma Chau station in Hong Kong. Coco Park is a wonderful shopping mall with lots of promotion offers for Hong Kong visitors. Simply picked a Chinese fusion restaurant called 桂滿隴, a BBQ set for 2 just cost CNY168, with good customer service. All payments were settled by e-wallet, cashless, very convenient. Worth to have a try!

If you’re heading to Shenzhen you absolutely must see the nightly light shows, it’s out of this world! I’ve lived in the city for over five years now and I still can’t get over how amazing they are, the entire downtown district displays a coordinated show across nearly 50 skyscrapers. The displays range from floral displays, under the sea, space and geometric patterns. The scale of it is huge and you can stand back and watch the buildings change colour in front of you, or see the patterns change along the rows or buildings. It’s absolutely stunning and the fact that it changes so often means there’s always something to look forward to. It takes place in Futian district on the buildings between Shopping park and Gangxia metro stations. Usually Friday and Saturdays nights at 7/8/9PM for roughly 15 minutes. Went here on the 1st day of touching down. Was recommended by the YouTuber to have dinner at the Chinese cuisine restaurant that features roasted#futian #cocopark pigeon. The taste did not dissappoint at all. When we queue, there's 30 slot ahead of us but only took 10 mins to clear. Couldn't really recall the name of the restaurant but from the middle of the mall overlooking the inner structure of the mall the restaurant is inside the cone structure part of the mall. We had 1 roasted pigeon and ordered 1 small serving of small claypot rice. Sufficient amount for 2 us. #shenzhen
