Compared to the Botanic Gardens, it's far less crowded and feels much more wild and untouched. We even spotted squirrels leaping through the trees! Easy Access & Rustic Charm Getting there is pretty straightforward: just take the MRT to Punggol Coast (Purple Line). From there, you walk across a man-made dam, and you'll reach the West Gate entrance. The eastern section of the island had just reopened on (I think) July 7th, so this time we just hiked a loop around the western side. If the eastern section is open, you can cross a bridge to make a full loop. Getting There - You can get there by bus from Punggol MRT. There are two main entrances. Highlights - 1. Forest - You can either hike or cycle through the forest. There is lush greenery and different birds and wildlife to see. The trail also stretches across mangroves and coastal forests. 2. Beach - There are 4-5 small sandy beach areas which is very tranquil and good place to chill. 3. #travelanywhere I love coney island in Singapore because it feels like I have been transported to another world or another country. I will usually ride my bicycle to this wonderful place where it's away from the busy city life, it feels calm, peaceful and quiet. With all that tall trees swaying to the wind and beautiful floral and fauna and the occasional visits from monkeys, you will be thankful for all that nature around you. Take a break and enjoy the sea views from coney Island. Walk deep into the woods and you will be surrounded by nice greenery. This place provides much needed respite from the daily grind. Love it!

①Take the green line to Pasir Ris station, continue walking along the train line after exiting, don't enter the bus interchange, walk outside, then cross the road and turn right to get there. ②You'll first pass through a mangrove forest with lots of crabs and such, the environment is nice, but sometimes there's a smell of rotting silt. ③The park is quite large, you can rent a bicycle to tour around, there are many bicycle rental shops, didn't ask about the price, but it's usually just a few dollars. ④There are many chickens in the park, and feeding them is not allowed (traditional Singaporean rule). ⑤There are plenty of Carpark spaces, so those with cars can drive with ease, as there are many places to park. ⑥It's very suitable for bringing children to play, with lots of children's play facilities, the beach is not crowded, the sea is calm, and the waves are small, so you can let children play by the sea without worry. ⑦The sunset is really beautiful, it's recommended to come around five o'clock, sit by the beach when tired, chat, and enjoy the scenery, it's very nice. Opposite is Pulau Ubin, and you can also see airplanes landing. ⑧You can walk or cycle to Coney Island, those who like hiking can give it a try. ⑨As for Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, it's not crowded, mostly people walking, jogging, or walking their dogs, and there are also some young people playing frisbee. The scenery is the usual tropical one, all green, and there seem to be fewer mosquitoes than in the Botanic Gardens. Of course, along the way, you'll also see various wildlife such as wild chickens, otters, squirrels, egrets, turtles, and even more amazing creatures. Directions: Get off at Bishan MRT station and walk north for 10 minutes to get there.

A beautiful place to be lost in. This nature park is simply amazing! It is like exploring and venturing into a small forest, except that the flora and fauna that you can find here is unlike any you can find in the other parts of Singapore. There is also a small beach at the corner of the island where you can just chill. Be careful of sandflies though! There are many monkeys around, especially near the entrance, so take good care of your belongings and have a great day out .

It is Coney Island located close to punggol settlement. There is no direct parking here but instead your closes parking lot is at punggol settlement itself. This park only opens from 7am - 7pm, not sure why though but when entering into Coney island it feels like you are transported to Australia somehow. The Tranquility, the tall trees and the nature surrounding you feels so different. Loads of people come here for their morning runs and walks. You can even rent a bike to cycle in Coney island too! There are also parts of Coney island allows you to have a nice quiet picnic while having a seafront view, you will be able to spot certain bird habitats and even different variety of plants and mushrooms too!

It was a fine evening with no more Sun and no more Rain, cycled down to check out this island hidden behind Punggol city. What amazing sky and view of nature !!! But unfortunately no cycling is allowed in the island so only walking is allowed. In Singapore many things are prohibited and controlled, even smoking of cigarettes and littering, if caught you will be fined for sure, that’s why they call it a “fine city” ;) So pls do not smoke in public areas and throw your litters anyhow !!! Finally last of all, just wanna say this island is pretty boring, there’s nothing much to do except see some monkeys in action :p be careful with your items they can be really naughty and rob the items off of you and you may never be able to get them back from these naughty monkeys 🙉

The waters may not be as clear as Lazarus but it sure still feel like a private beach....Usually people go to Coney Island for a hike or cycling round the island....so no one really picnic by the beach. I thot it's a perfect place for some down time or quite time with your love ones...Do remember to follow the rules of NParks. There is opening and closing time of the park gates entry to the Island....I hope everyone is responsible enough to adhere to the rules & regulations okie....There is no food and drinks shop in the island so remember to pack loads if you intend to stay whole day....Some areas OCBC has a replanting of plants initiative, so do walk around and check it out. Put on your shades, slather some SPF sunscreen and insect repellent and chillax by the beach side.... #beachvibes

The best place to go for a walk. the hidden beach area , best place to chill and take a break . there is also a mini obstacle course i can say. a great cool place for photoshoots as well ! also along there , punggol settlement , theres food places and bicycle rental . also a pond with turtles ! #hikingtrails
