🌳 Following the Heungjeong Valley in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, you'll come across the Herb Farm. 🔮 As soon as you step into the farm's entrance, you're greeted by the subtle scent of lavender, instantly putting your mind at ease. True to its name, the entire place is filled with herbs. Along the paths, you'll find lavender, rosemary, thyme, peppermint, and other herbs, each with its unique fragrance and blooming according to the season. 🌺 Walking towards the central garden, a vibrant herb garden filled with colorful flowers unfolds before your eyes. Small trails wind through the well-maintained garden, and as you stroll along, the sound of the wind and birdsong creates a refreshing and open atmosphere. 🌹 The most memorable part was the fragrant indoor greenhouse. Thanks to the humid environment, various herbs were thriving lushly. Inside, there's also a corner where you can experience making dried herbs and herb oils yourself. 🌲 At the Herb Farm Café, you can enjoy herbal teas and lavender ice cream made with herbs grown on-site. There's also a cozy bookstore café and a charming shop selling herb-related items. With spaces to relax and read, it's the perfect place to spend a leisurely day soaking in the tranquility.

#koreatrip It’s a cute place to visit and the entrance bridge has nice mountain views. The best sights were in the front after said bridge. The rest of the facility is quite small and dated. It felt very built in the 90’s. For the price of 8,000w per person, it’s too steep for what it is. I respect the hard work and effort of the gardeners but I wish they would update and create a better aesthetic for visitors.

On a beautiful day in October, I visited Herb Nara Farm in Bongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang, to enjoy the scent of herbs that are good for the mind and body and the beauty of nature.
