The Kenting Rijing Villa is full of Instagram-worthy vibes. The pool alone is worth hours of photoshoots! The rooftop open-air bar is also super cool. They've got shot glasses ready to go, plus champagne lights. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there's even a washer and dryer. Staying for two or three days here is completely worry-free. They've got electric mahjong, karaoke, and barbecue facilities. Highly recommend the Rijing Villa in Kenting. It's fantastic!

This community has a small bay beach, which is much smaller than Nanwan Beach, but I personally think the scenery here is much more beautiful than Nanwan. This should also be considered a secret place. When people go to Kenting, they always like to go to Nanwan or Sail Rock to squeeze in with the crowds. #AprilGoodDestinations2025 It was my first time to visit Xiaoliuqiu, and the three-day and two-night trip was very enjoyable! We arrived at the pier at about 16:10 on the first afternoon. Since we had booked a SUP experience (including aerial photography) at 16:30, we rushed to the car rental point as soon as we arrived. However, because I didn’t have an international driver’s license, I couldn’t rent an electric scooter. In the end, I chose an electric bicycle, which is also very convenient. We arrived at the meeting point at around 17:30, but luckily the coach was very nice and the activity went smoothly until 18:30. In the evening, I returned to the B&B and after a quick wash, I went out to look for food. I tried the local sesame noodles and braised pork rice, which tasted simple and good. We woke up at 07:00 the next morning, had omelets and black tea for breakfast, and gathered at the designated location at 08:30 to prepare for the diving experience. It was my first time diving, so I was inevitably nervous at the beginning, but the instructor was very patient and guided me to relax and breathe during the process. Seeing the corals and turtles on the seabed really makes me feel that everything is worth it! After the activity, we returned to the B&B to rest. At noon, we bought some local snacks and enjoyed them slowly in the room. As the weather turned cooler in the afternoon, we cycled again to explore the island, stopping by several scenic spots to take photos along the way. I had a local goose dish for dinner that impressed me deeply. I would recommend it to my friends who love to try new things. After checking out at 10:00 on the third day, we stored our luggage at the B&B and then went for a brief visit to the nearby Wugui Cave, marking the end of our trip to Xiaoliuqiu. Then take a boat back to Donggang and transfer to public transportation back to Zuoying, Kaohsiung. Although there were some minor incidents during the entire trip, it left me with a lot of memories and beautiful photos, and made me like the pace and scenery of this island more.

Pengcun Wetland Park is located at the junction of Donggang Town and Linbian Township in Pingtung County. It takes about three minutes to get there from the Donggang Interchange of National Highway No. 3. It is close to Provincial Highway No. 1 and has convenient transportation. Pengcun Wetland Park covers an area of ​​about 10 hectares and is one of the six wetland parks within the jurisdiction of Pingtung Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area (Pengcun, Zuo'an, You'an, Datan, Qifeng, and Mangrove Restoration). There are four protected mangrove species in Pengcun Wetland, and wetlands have been introduced to create an ecological wetland park with flood retention, water purification and biodiversity. Two weeks ago, I saw on the Internet that there would be a lighting ceremony at 7pm, so my family and I wandered around Pingtung Park and took photos. We then walked slowly over half an hour before the lighting ceremony, as Pingtung Park is only a five-minute walk from the church. A Christmas light tree had been installed in front of the church gate and it looked very nice, but there were not as many people on the scene as I had expected, less than ten people. I was still wondering why the lighting ceremony had not started at seven o'clock, and after more than ten minutes I couldn't stand it anymore and checked online. Later I found out that it was a big misunderstanding. The lighting ceremony was at the Taiwan Presbyterian Church of Peace on Minzu Road, not the Taiwan Presbyterian Church of Peace on Ren'ai Road. The difference between the two words made a world of difference. I saw on Facebook that the live broadcast site was packed with people. Although the drive between the two places is less than ten minutes, it is conceivable that there will be no parking space nearby. I can only come back next week because there will be several lighting sessions, so I won’t go to join in the fun.
