For friends who come to Myeong-dong for shopping~ I highly recommend the Crown Park Hotel in Seoul Myeong-dong
The location is so advantageous, with the subway entrance right at the hotel's doorstep, and it's very convenient to come from Incheon Airport; just take bus 6701 for 4 stops directly to the Westin Hotel, then turn left across the street and you're there. It's even more convenient for shopping, as the Shinsegae Duty Free Shop and the main Lotte Department Store are just across the street, accessible through an underpass. To the left outside the hotel, it's a walking distance to City Hall, Deoksugung Palace, and Gwanghwamun Square, while to the right, it's just minutes away to Myeong-dong shopping area. The room rates are acceptable for being in the city center. The rooms are quite spacious, with a separate wet and dry bathroom area, the hand soap is by Peter Roth, and the bath products are by Aveda. Slippers are provided, but there is no toothbrush or toothpaste. The bed is very soft and comfortable, the air conditioning works great, and there's a small fridge in the room with two bottles of mineral water provided daily. Check-in and check-out are very convenient; you just hand over the room card and you can leave~ For tourists coming to Seoul for shopping, staying here is incredibly convenient~
First-time visitors to Seoul can consider this hotel. It's in a prime location with convenient transportation. The front desk guy is very handsome and speaks multiple languages; he speaks Japanese, Chinese, and English very well. Just feel that the pillows in the room are not comfortable to sleep on. For this price and location, it feels quite good overall.
Turn left outside the hotel, and there are 2 Lotte Shopping Centers.
Across the underpass on the opposite side of the street is Myeong-dong's most famous shopping and snack street (a must-visit spot), including Myeong-dong dumplings.
Turning left at the hotel entrance, the underground passage leads directly to the City Hall subway station on Line 1 (a bit far). It takes just over 20 minutes to get to the Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market. Turning right outside the hotel, a short walk will take you to
the 'Euljiro 1(il)-ga' subway station on Line 2. From these two stations,
it's very convenient to get to many attractions. It feels like almost all the famous sights are nearby.
Arriving at Incheon Terminal 2, go down to B1, and you'll see the bus ticket counter. The lady at the counter said: 'You must buy a ticket with cash (not sure about card payment), but the bus from here does not accept transportation cards. When returning to the airport from the hotel, you can use the transportation card without buying another ticket). I bought bus 6015 to Myeong-dong Ibis Hotel H stop, and you need to cross the underpass because our hotel is about 100 meters up a small slope diagonally across the street! Actually, it would have been more convenient to take bus 6701. So on the return trip, just turn right from the hotel and walk a few dozen meters straight, and wait there for the 6701 airport limousine bus back, it's so convenient! There were hardly any passengers on the whole bus. The overall evaluation of the hotel is that the location is: very good
If you're looking for a comfortable bed and pillows, don't get your hopes up too high.
