If you're planning to spend a few days in Hangzhou during the Mid-Autumn Festival or National Day, and you don't know where to go after visiting West Lake on the first day, then I have prepared a historical street tour route for you that can be completed in one day!
🚶♀️ Recommended tour route
Xiaohuzi Street: Experience flower-wearing photography, cat cafes, various handicrafts and local snacks, and Xiaohuzi Park.
Dadou Road Historical and Cultural District: Visit Xiangji Temple, the market, and enjoy delicious snacks, specialty restaurants, and unique shops.
Qiaoxi Historical and Cultural District: Visit various museums (Chinese Umbrella, Knives, Scissors, and Swords, Fans, Jing-Hang Grand Canal, Arts and Crafts Museum, etc.), stroll through the ancient streets, and take a water bus.
🚇 Transportation guide
By subway: Take Line 3 to Xiangji Temple Station, exit C, and walk for about 3 minutes to visit Xiangji Temple before exploring Dadou Road Historical Street.
Transfer: After visiting, you can return to the exit C of Line 3 and take the train to Shanxian, then transfer to Line 5 and get off at Gongchen Bridge East Exit B. Walk for 10 minutes to Gongchen Bridge and explore the Qiaoxi Historical and Cultural District.
On foot: After visiting the Qiaoxi Historical and Cultural District, you can walk for about 15 minutes to Xiaohuzi Park and Xiaohuzi Street.
