I visited the Din Tai Fung Nanxi Branch near Zhongshan Station, which is famous for its cafe street and close to Taipei Main Station. Din Tai Fung Nanxi Branch is located on the second basement floor of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store near Zhongshan Station, and it is not difficult to find the location because there are always many people waiting. ⏱️ Waiting Din Tai Fung does not accept reservations, so on-site waiting is essential. If you fail to enter during the open run, it usually takes 40 minutes to 1 hour to wait, and the waiting number is called differently depending on your nationality. If you are Korean, it is also amazing that they call your waiting number in Korean!! There was a bit of a wait but we went to the one location in Sogo Taiwan. We were planning to go to the first location for the chain however they have now transitioned it to just take away only.. and we wanted to enjoy a sit in experience. Always be prepared to wait for Din Tai Fung. But we grab a ticket and explored sogo a little. Super convenient because Sogo has currency exchange and tax returns when you purchase select items. (Ie.
