Avoid the crowds and encounter slow moments at Liangxianghe Guesthouse in Yangzhou
Traveling during holidays can be frustrating due to the overwhelming crowds. This time, I deliberately chose to visit Yangzhou on a non-weekend day to fully immerse myself in the city's slow-paced lifestyle.
Staying at Liangxianghe Guesthouse made my Yangzhou trip even more memorable‼️
This guesthouse boasts a prime location in the city center, adjacent to Dongguan Street. Just a few minutes' walk from the door, you can dive straight into the bustling markets of Pishi Street and Dongguan Street. Here, a dazzling array of delicious snacks and unique shops line the streets, offering a one-stop experience for eating, drinking, and entertainment from morning till night. No more exhausting trips between various attractions, saving a lot of travel hassle.
Although the guesthouse is situated in a lively urban area, 🉑 once you step into the courtyard, it instantly feels like entering a tranquil world. There is no noisy traffic, only peace and harmony.
The guesthouse has only five rooms, but the owner couple manages it with flourishing flowers and greenery, creating a vibrant scene. Every flower, plant, tree, and tile in the courtyard reflects the owners' thoughtful design and taste. Talking with the couple, you can genuinely feel their inner quality and sincerity, offering wandering travelers a touch of home warmth. I especially love the owner’s freshly ground handmade American latte, uniquely flavorful and far superior to many coffee shops outside…
Entering the room, the first impression is exquisite simplicity, with everything clean and tidy. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, toiletries are of high quality, and all hardware facilities are well-equipped, comparable to star-rated hotels. The room’s soundproofing is excellent, so there’s no need to worry about outside noise disturbing your rest.
Spend your days exploring Yangzhou’s city, eating, drinking, and playing, then return to the guesthouse at night to enjoy a comfortable hot shower and lie on the soft big bed, sleeping soundly until you wake naturally, with all fatigue melting away.
