We had a nice and terrific day during our visit in Milan. The cathedral is really huge and was amazed to think over how the people managed to build such thing during that time. The cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete: construction began in 1386, and the final details were completed in 1965 as per history. At the Duomo Museum, I had a valuable experience that allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the history and art of Milan Cathedral. The sculptures and original stained glass used to decorate the Cathedral, as well as the restoration process, were carefully exhibited, and I was impressed by the craftsmanship of the artisans in the details. The museum has a calm atmosphere, and there are not too many visitors, so you can quietly appreciate the works. By stopping by after visiting the Duomo, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the building and experience a magnificent worldview where art and faith are fused together.

The Milan Duomo is protected by saints, angels and crosses from every angle, not only inside the cathedral but even beyond the outer walls. Even God can't do bad things. Foreigners and Italians alike point their cameras at the saints who are the guardians of the Duomo, as if they were taking a picture towards the sky. It was nice to see them looking up at the sky and praying.

However, limitations in choice of foods. Good choice of shopping, prices are very reasonable and advantage of claiming tax. Local transport are also very convenient.
