A must-stay hotel in Penang , it's really beautiful, from the lobby to the room are very photogenic. Having stayed at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, this alternative version in Penang seems to be very cost-effective. We stayed for three nights in total, and the overall experience was great. 🏨🏖️🛁 We chose the located in the Heritage Wing of the hotel, a 58-square-meter suite with a sea view when you open the window. The living room and bedroom of the suite are separate, the bathroom is equipped with two independent washbasins, and the bathtub is also large. Spent my short break at Eastern & Oriental Hotel at Georgetown, Penang. Treat myself to a nice English Afternoon Tea at Palm Court and unwind with all the facilities in the hotel. Very nice hotel as it feels like a muzium that brings you back to the England Colonization era. It is in Georgetown with a sea view. Walking distance to all the famous street food sites. I chose this hotel to unwind and reset because the sea helps to calm my mind and I also didn't want to miss any Penang food when I was there. Overall it is worth the price you pay for. Historical and aesthetic hotel in Penang with stories behind. British designed architecture with million-dollar sea view along the coastline. Check in process was long and services were expected to be better as this hotel is rated 5*. Breakfast in Sarkies was amazing. Always have to ponder when we were given options to dine ala carte or buffet for breakfast. What will you choose?

Lunch buffet in Satkies restaurant at E&O Hotel Penang is such an experience.. There are various food provided and the taste are good! Among signature dishes at the lunch buffet are rosted duck, char kuew teow, laksa and fresh tuna.. The time provided is 2 hours and half enough to make you full🤣.. The service is also good since the server soo polite.. The only downside is the dessert menu..it is a but under welming.. the rest is sooo good.👍🏻👍🏻

#penang Extremely happy with the stay here ! Cant help it but marvel at the hotel's aesthetic beauty in every corner. Its interior deco, finishing, english touch - all are superb ! The only small thing we dislike is there is no beach at the hotel. Not blaming the hotel though. It's central location is still fantastic but something is amiss when we could see the sea but we could not touch and dip our feet in the water. E&O Hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Penang which was founded in 1885. Nevertheless, the hotel building is well maintained and we were impressed by the colonial architecture and its histories. We stayed at Victory Annexe Studio Suite King. The suite is spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a balcony attached to the suite, offering an amazing and relaxing sea view! The complimentary hotel breakfast buffet was wonderful, huge selection of international foods including local, Asian and Western foods. The stay was pleasantly relaxing. My husband and I had the best time in the hotel.

Initially not planning to go Penang till we compromised. Might as well long weekend till National Day, plan a trip 4 days 3 nights. Being recommended staying this hotel, location wise was good, centralised and going anywhere is convenient in the heart of Penang. Room wise was good too, with balcony and facing sea view which is an advantage. Fruits were given too and also on a daily basis. Bed was comfy, breakfast had 2 choices in the hotel, continental breakfast and another one was regular breakfast which all hotels got. Checking in was a breeze, staff were friendly, stayed at high level which is a hugh plus.
