Hey everyone! Just had an awesome day at Featherdale Wildlife Park and had to share. If you love animals, you’ve got to check this place out! 💞Reasons to Recommend: ✨Close Encounters with Wildlife✨ One of the best parts of my visit was getting up close and personal with the animals. I got to feed kangaroos right from my hand and even took a selfie with a koala! The best part is, there are no cages or barriers, so you really feel like you're interacting with the animals in their natural habitat. ✨Australian Native Animals Galore✨ Featherdale is like a paradise for anyone who loves Australian wildlife. I saw quokkas, which are just as smiley and cute as everyone says. There were also rare white kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, and even the famous Tasmanian devils. It's incredible to see so many unique animals in one place. ✨Less Crowded, More Personal✨ Unlike some of the bigger zoos, Featherdale felt really relaxed and intimate. There weren't huge crowds, so I could take my time and enjoy each exhibit. The photos turned out great and I even got a digital copy. Go to the zoo in the morning when there will be fewer people and the animals will be more energetic. When I arrived before 9am, the koalas were very active. It was rare to see them jump to another tree. I bought AUD5 worth of food to feed the Quokka and kangaroos, and they all rushed to eat it. You can pay attention to the official website for their animal feeding time. It seems that wombat and devil will hide in the tree holes, and the staff will bring them out when feeding. Only kangaroos can be touched and fed up close. If you are interested, you can pay extra to get up close to Quokka, but you have to make an appointment early. There is basically no need to queue up to take photos with Koala in the morning. The price is affordable, and you can touch the patpat and feet. After taking the photos, the staff told us that we can take photos of Koala up close, which is very worthwhile

Great layout planned for close up encounters of the animals throughout the wildlife park. I’ve been to Taronga Zoo but I’ll say this place has been my favourite place to come back. Very family friendly and the food options are wide enough and not too pricey for families to enjoy. This is Featherdale Zoo! It's not that big, but it's a zoo where you can see the animals up close and have a lot of opportunities to touch them!! You can even take selfies with them! The staff are also really nice and definitely!! If you want to see awake koalas, I highly recommend the open run ㅎㅎ

Most of the animals are free-range and can be kissed at any time, especially on trip.com to purchase tickets in advance, the price is very affordable, highly recommend one of them to purchase with a koala package, can four people with a koala, but also get back digital photos and have other coupons.
